1-Adamson 26" x 26" x 84" 500HP 2 - roll plastic/rubber mixing mill. Motorized roll adjusters can be replaced with hydraulic cylinders. Direct connected and unitized on a three piece heavy "I" beam steel base with leveling pads. New in 1988. Both rolls are triple pass "drilled" for heating or cooling and have 17" journals. Bearing housings have cored cooling channels for high temperature operation. Inboard and outboard grease seals. Rolls are individually driven to produce a wide range of friction ratios. Each roll is driven via Lufkin model #THB440CH, right angle gear reducer with a 64.69 to 1 ratio. Rated for 250HP with a 1.68 service factor @ 1150 rpm input speed. Each roll has a Reliance 250HP DC 1150 motor driving the reducer. Flip up stock guides. Prodicon overhead blender. There are no SCR drives or controls. This mill can also be configured as a single mill with one Lufkin right angle reducer and 1-250HP AC variable speed 460V motor and controller. Friction ratio to your requirements.
