This is a very unique fixture that was made by Jirgens in Kalamazoo Michigan. Called a Ziggy Gun Drill Fixture, it was designed to specifically to drive carbide tipped gun drills. It has a port to run a coolant line to it and has a 2" diameter shank that is mounted on a NMTB-50 endmill holder. It can be taken off of that holder and put on any other 2" capacity CAT, BT holder. The only marking on the fixture is H.05.26.6.1.2 and Jirgens is no longer in business, so cannot find out any other information on the fixture. It was used on large horizontal and vertical boring mills, so if you have a like machine, it would be a great fixture to use gun drills on!
