Description
Quick Change Toolpost Set, Wedge Type #300 (CXA) with 5 holders:
- (1) straight Holder, 3/8-3/4" Capacity
- (1) Straight w/V Groove for straight OR round tools, 3/8-3/4" Capacity
- (1) H.D. Boring Holder, 1" Capacity
- (1) Knurling / Facing Holder
- (1) Parting Holder, Uses 3/4" Tall Parting Blades
Sizing:
(This tool post will generally fit lathes from a Heavy Duty 13" to 19" Swing, please check carefully as shown below)
Measure from the top of your compound slide, where the tool post sits, to the centerline of the spindle/work piece (Using a center in the tailstock to find this is normally the easiest way) For this CXA Tool Post Set, you will need a minimum of 1-1/2" from that measurement, up to a maximum of about 2-3/8". If it is very close to or more than this 2-3/8", you would want to use a larger tool post to fit it properly.
Dimensions Below for standard straight tool holder to help with sizing:
- A: 1-7/16"
- B: 3/4" (This is where the cutting tool fits)
- C: 5/8"
- D: 2-1/8"
