Subway tunnels, road tunnels, shaft sinking, rehabilitation of existing tunnels and excavation of underground caverns are just a few examples where these machines have demonstrated their great flexibility. Our Sandvik MT520 PLC-controlled Roadheader has been designed for use in tunneling, as well as salt, potash and chalk mining with a maximum profile up to 70m².
