Description
Stainless Steel 20 CF Met-Chem Sludge Dryer with a stainless steel jacketed trough and internal dual-shaft ribbon assemblies. Designed for heavy-duty sludge dewatering, the unit previously reduced moisture content from 30-35% H2O down to below 5% within an estimated 3-4 hour drying cycle. The batch-style dryer applies indirect heat to the sludge, facilitating even moisture evaporation while the ribbon assemblies ensure consistent mixing. Water vapor is vented during the drying process to maintain efficiency and prevent condensation. This dryer is ideal for wastewater treatment applications requiring effective moisture reduction before disposal or further processing.
