Description

Used in laboratory and industrial gas measurement applications, the Matheson FM-1050 Series High Accuracy Flowmeter is a variable area rotameter designed for precise indication and control of gas flow. This unit carries model number ME11A001E440 and part number 4054003, and has been identified by calibration service records as rated for a flow range of 250 to 300 SLPM. The FM-1050 Series features a borosilicate glass metering tube housed in Matheson's proprietary Tube-Cube unitized tube holder, which provides 1.5x scale magnification for easier reading and protects the glass tube during handling. End blocks are stainless steel construction with direct-acting nonrotating end seals.

This kit is offered as a complete assembly in an orange foam-lined hard carry case and includes the flowmeter body, a blue Eastman Hytron hose rated at 250 PSI working pressure, a soap film bubble disk assembly for primary flow standard calibration, and a needle valve assembly. A vendor calibration sticker referencing internal number 10037725 is present on the flowmeter body. Internal item reference 52441-175 and lot reference 12919 are visible on attached labels.

The FM-1050 Series is rated to 250 psig maximum pressure and 250 degrees F maximum temperature, with stated accuracy of plus or minus 5 percent of full scale flow rate. Typical applications include flow measurement of purge gases, laboratory instrument flow monitoring, and calibration of flow standards used in environmental monitoring.
