-Fully loaded with all the features you would expect, combined with the durability of Magnetic scales which carry an IP67 rating for reliability in the harshest environments of the machine tool industry. (What does this IP67 rating mean? The IP 67 is the rating against intrusion by Solids and Water. The first digit, #6, is the highest rating against dust particles, which means it is totally protected against dust. The second digit, the #7, is the second highest rating for liquids available, and that means they are protected against submersion in water up to 1 meter depth, up to 3o minutes. So you can put this scale under water for 30 minutes and it will not be harmed – perfect for heavy use coolant applications. Since machine tools do not typically run while submerged in water, so I think it is safe to say these are well sealed units for machine tool use)
