Along with new state-of-the-art workholding features, the DX6 vise achieves new levels in precision and performance where flatness and parallelism are important. By every measure this is a better vise than their D688 Vise. It features the same bed height and keyway to the stationary jaw face as the D688 and a redesigned nut with lighter weight and new brush seal design. The bearing pack is larger, stronger and more durable than their other designs and their proprietary Anglock spherical segment creates all-directional alignment and reduces jaw tilt for improved performance. With a 9" opening and a vise width of 7.391", you can get more vise's on your table than ever before, in addition it can be mounted on your table thru the body, no side flanges!
