Handles Thicker Veneer - 0.5 mm to 5 mm (0.02 - 0.197"). -- General Description: Feed thru splicer with integrated glue applicator, glue with cooling system to increase glue life, joins veneer edges passing through a "disc style" glue application zone at high speed for an immediate tight joint or will join pre-glued veneers as well. A thermosetting glue that will not be affected by subsequent heat operations. -- Capability: Well-cut and trimmed veneer strips with a 90-degree jointing angle on the jointing face of veneer edges are aligned evenly by the synchronized infeed rollers; directly conveyed to the gluing unit for gluing edges and then thru the heating section for glue curing.Handles veneers with wide top and bottom feed chains; 0.5 - 5 mm (0.020" - 0.197") veneer thickness; veneer length 350 mm (13-3/4") min.; and 55 mm (2,17") min. width. -- Controls/Heating: Controls at eye-level height control panel; accurate SSR (solid state relay) heating controller with individual temperature settings & thermostats; heating temperature range 100 - 220C max. (212 - 428F); about 1500 mm (59.1") heating zone. -- Equipped with: Gluing unit powered by variable speed drive. Precise cooling system to extend glue pot life.
