This listing is for an “on-site” or “at your shop” Bridgeport milling machine service. Pricing is for Midwest region. we can go to any region however the price increases a bit.


The things that can cause the price to fluctuate a bit is how far out you are from St. Louis Missouri, where we are located. Also, the condition of your machine, sometimes allows for options on site that cause the price to be a little higher. Typically though it’s your choice to replace these things while we are doing the service.


this basic service includes a complete upper housing rebuild, the lower spindle housing gets tuned up and spindle bearings replaced, the transmission housing gets cleaned out and repacked with grease.


Things that are an added cost in the head are the splined and spindle gear hubs And the bull gears. Also if your motor shaft is all banged up, sometimes a new motor is necessary, which would be an extra cost.


The base of the machine gets completely disassembled, cleaned out and reassembled with new wipers, new leads, screw, bearings, and new nuts. The oil system gets checked and limiters get replaced if they’re clogged also a new reservoir on your oiler is included because they get brittle and have a tendency to crack overtime. Things that would be an additional charge are lead screws, the oiler pump itself, Power feed and read out.
