Description
The J.H. Day Company Jacketed Nauta Style Mixer. S/N 86698. National Board: 1228. Year: 1973. Jacket MAWP 125 PSI at 300F. This style mixer is known as a Conical Screw Mixer or Nauta Mixer. Stainless steel construction with cone bottom discharge. Features a double acting auger that rotates around the tank interior for mixing action. Commonly used in these industries: food, cosmetic cream, fertilizer, bakery, pharmaceutical, adhesive, detergent, powder, etc. Known to be gentle and have minimal heat gain while blending. Previous application was a food processing plant. Auger is 12 inches diameter x 3.5 feet long. Tank dimensions: 45 in. inner diameter x 63 in. deep. Estimated capacity: 400 gallons. (2) Motors: 5 HP & 1 HP, 230/460V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. Tank discharge: 6 inch ID with 11 inch 8-bolt flange. Jacket ports: 1.5 in. Overall dimensions: 5.5 ft. x 5 ft. x 9 feet high. Includes (3) 4 ft. leg extensions.
