Description

Refurbished AVS zinc reclaim furnace systems for reclaiming tungsten carbide via the zinc reclaim process. This ZNR-1200 has capacity to process up to 1200 pounds of tungsten carbide. AVS furnace systems are managed by a recipe driven, hands-off control system, maximizing operational safety and minimizing human interaction.

ZINC COLLECTION SYSTEM

Scrap tungsten carbide and zinc are loaded into covered reaction crucibles on hearth rollers in the hot zone

Empty recovery crucibles with covers positioned in rear recovery zone of furnace to condense vaporized zinc

Graphite vapor transfer manifolds carry zinc vapors between reaction crucibles in hot zone and recovery crucibles in rear recovery zone

Recovery crucibles supported on steel rollers in recovery zone of furnace

Horizontal graphite hot zone in front half of furnace

Two 26” wide x 21” high x 55” deep heaters
