Panasonic Safety Light Curtains & Safety Laser Scanners

Get email updates for newly added Safety Light Curtains & Safety Laser Scanners

Safety light curtains and safety laser scanners (also known as presence-sensing safeguarding devices) are optoelectronic guards that protect operators from hazardous machine motion. A light curtain projects an array of infrared beams across an opening and stops the machine when a beam is broken, while a laser scanner sweeps a programmable protective zone on the floor or around a work cell. Used on press brakes, stamping presses, robotic cells, and palletizers, they provide point-of-operation protection without physical barriers, satisfying OSHA and ANSI machine safeguarding requirements while keeping parts accessible.
