Investment Recovery is a strategic process focused on identifying and redeploying or remarketing nonproductive, surplus assets created during normal business operations. Surveys by the Investment Recovery Association indicate that, on average, about 10% of a company’s capital equipment is surplus at any given time when managed effectively. Investment Recovery can focus solely on surplus equipment or expand to include excess materials, chemicals, waste, and finished goods. Capital assets that are no longer required still hold significant cash flow potential when properly recovered and managed.
