IN 1924 we were steamed up with a lot of pep and enthusiasm about creating a medium which would act as a market-place for all types of surplus and rebuilt industrial equipment. That was sixteen years ago. We were convinced then that the idea was good—and we still have this same conviction.
It was a long uphill fight for a number of years, but each year we managed to show some progress. In next month’s issue, our Buyer’s Reference Number, we reach a new high point in our service to Industry. We place particular emphasis on this coming issue because it offers an opportunity for the buyers of machinery and equipment to have on hand, in one book, a comprehensive presentation of the used and rebuilt equipment available throughout the country. Practically every dealer and liquidator will be using space in this anniversary number to illustrate and describe their complete stocks and services which will include a wide variety of machine tools, electrical power, foundry, forging and industrial equipment.
We want every plant executive to have a copy of the Buyer’s Reference Number, so we are including a post card elsewhere in this issue in order that you can be sure to get your copy marked for your personal attention. Fill in and mail the card today.
