Square D Heavy Duty Safety Switch VH222DSGL 240V

The Square D VH222DSGL is a heavy duty fusible disconnect safety switch rated for 240 VAC and 250 VDC at 60 amps. This 2 pole, 2 wire single throw switch is housed in a Type 4X 304 stainless steel enclosure with a factory installed viewing window, making it suitable for washdown, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, marine, and corrosive industrial environments. The switch features a quick make, quick break operating mechanism, a dual cover interlock, and a color coded indicator handle. Short circuit current rating is 10 kA standard or up to 200 kA with appropriate Class R fuses. The device accepts Class H, K, and R fuse types as shipped and can be field modified for Class J fuses. Horsepower ratings are 3 hp at 120 VAC, 7.5 hp at 240 VAC single phase, 10 hp at 240 VAC three phase for older NEMA standard motors, and 15 hp at 240 VAC three phase. Mounting is surface style, and the unit ships with factory installed equipment ground lugs. Wire range accepts AWG 12 through AWG 3 aluminum or AWG 14 through AWG 3 copper. Dimensions are 5.50 in H x 7.22 in W x 5.384 in D. The unit is tested per UL98 and NEMA KS1 standards and is UL listed under files E2875 and E154828. A solid neutral can be installed in the field using the appropriate solid neutral kit.
