THE SPROUT BAUER 12 INCH SINGLE DISK LAB REFINER SYSTEM IS A DRY FEED REFINER. ORIGINALLY USED IN A UNIVERSITY RESEARCH LAB. THE REFINER WAS USED IN A FIBER DEVELOPMENT STUDY. THE 12 INCH MECHANICALLY LOADED SINGLE DISC REFINER WITH SUPPLEMNTARY 1 HP AUGER INFEED HAS A ERIEZ VIBRATORY MAGNETIC FEEDER. THE ERIEZ FEED IS A MODEL 20A, STYLE 26, 115 VOLT UNIT. THIS LAB REFINER FEATURES ALL EXPLOSION PROOF WIRING AND CONTROLS. THE REFINER powered by a 25HP MOTOR WITH 1740 RPM AND 220/440 VOLT EXPLOSION PROOF MOTOR WITH V-BELT PULLY DRIVE TO FACILITATE SPEED CHANGES. THE UNIT IS SELF CONTAINED MOUNTED ON A STEEL BENCH WITH CASTORS ALOWING FOR MOBILITY. INCLUDED ARE 4 COMPLETE SETS OF REFINING PLATES, SOME NEW IN BOX. THIS IS A TOP LOAD UNIT WITH BOTTOM DISCHARGE THAT HAS A 4 BOLT SWING AWAY FRONT DOR FOR EASE OF PLATE CHANGE.
