THE NEWPORT 67001 IS A HIGH-INTENSITY ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT SOURCE, FUNCTIONING AS A HOUSING DESIGNED FOR A 75W XENON SHORT ARC LAMP. IT OPERATES ON 120 VAC, SINGLE-PHASE POWER. THE UNIT INCORPORATES AN F/1.5 CONDENSER SYSTEM WITH A UV-GRADE FUSED SILICA LENS, OPTIMIZED FOR EFFICIENT LIGHT COLLECTION. WHEN EQUIPPED WITH A COMPATIBLE 75W XENON LAMP, IT DELIVERS A BROAD SPECTRAL OUTPUT SPANNING THE INVISIBLE ULTRAVIOLET REGION, TYPICALLY FROM 185 NM TO 400 NM, EXTENDING INTO THE VISIBLE AND INFRARED SPECTRUM. THIS CONFIGURATION ENABLES CONTINUOUS WAVE UV ILLUMINATION FOR LABORATORY APPLICATIONS.
