Description
The MRC 7209PJ DTDF is a matched angular contact ball bearing arrangement from MRC, a brand owned by SKF USA Inc. and one of the longest established bearing manufacturers in the United States. The DTDF suffix designates a matched set of four bearings arranged as two tandem (DT) pairs mounted in a face to face (DF) relationship. This configuration is used in applications where heavy thrust loads must be carried in both directions while also supporting combined radial loading. Each individual bearing in the set is a 45 mm bore by 85 mm outside diameter by 19 mm width single row angular contact ball bearing built to the 7200 PJ light series specification, with a 40 degree contact angle, one piece outer ring, machined inner ring, and a maximum ball complement retained by a brass or pressed steel cage. The PJ suffix indicates a configuration with one heavy race shoulder on the outer ring and a corresponding heavy and recessed race shoulder layout on the inner ring, allowing the bearing to carry a higher ball complement than a comparable deep groove design. Typical applications for 7200 PJ series bearings include pumps, gearboxes, electric motors, machine tool spindles, and other industrial assemblies where high one directional thrust capacity is required. The item is supplied in original MRC packaging with preservative oil consistent with new surplus condition. Specifications sourced from published MRC, SKF, and Applied Industrial Technologies catalog data.
