DESCRIPTION
This Kason fluid bed dryer comes from an agglomeration drying line and is optimal for any agglomerated powders such as dairy proteins, calcium carbonate, and charcoal. It was originally spec'd for whey protein (WPI) and had a maximum throughput of 2000 lbs./hr. when taking moisture content from 30% to 10% or 10% to 0.5%. Because this is a more difficult application than most, it can be considered to have a max throughput of 2,000lbs./hr.
