Used in industrial and commercial power distribution systems, the General Electric TJK636F000 is a 600A frame, 3-pole molded case circuit breaker installed with a 500A magnetic-adjustable trip unit. The nameplate confirms Cat. No. TJK636F000, manufactured in Plainville, Connecticut, with a trip setting labeled 500A Mag. Adj. 1500-5000A. Voltage rating is 600V AC maximum. Current interrupting ratings per nameplate are 22,000A RMS symmetrical at 600V, 30,000A at 480V, and 42,000A at 240V. The breaker is listed for use with Type TJK trip units; acceptable conductor types include copper-aluminum per the TCAL 63 lug markings visible on the load-side terminals.
