Belimo EFB120-S is a fail-safe damper actuator designed for on/off control in HVAC systems. It delivers a torque of 270 in-lb (30 Nm) and operates on AC 100240 V or DC 100125 V power. The actuator features a spring return mechanism for reliable fail-safe operation, ensuring dampers return to their default position during power loss. It supports on/off control with two SPDT auxiliary switches, one fixed at 10 and the other adjustable between 10 and 85, facilitating safety interfacing or signaling, such as for fan start-up. The actuator is mounted directly to a damper shaft up to 1.05 inches in diameter using its universal clamp. It offers a maximum rotation angle of 95, adjustable with mechanical end stops between 35 and 95. The running time for motor operation is 75 seconds per 90, and the spring return operates in less than 20 seconds at temperatures between -4F to 122F (-20C to 50C). The actuator operates within an ambient temperature range of -22F to 122F (-30C to 50C) and supports a maximum humidity of 95% RH, non-condensing. It meets cULus standards according to UL60730-1A/-2-14 and CAN/CSA E60730-1:02, and complies with CE standards per 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EU. The housing is constructed from die-cast aluminum and plastic casing, providing durability in various HVAC applications.
