Allen-Bradley Bradley Power Supply 1794-PS3

The Allen Bradley 1794-PS3 is a FLEX I/O power supply module manufactured by Rockwell Automation, designed to provide regulated 24V DC power to FLEX I/O adapters and modules in distributed control architectures. Catalog number 1794-PS3, Series A, accepts a nominal input of 120/230V AC at 50/60 Hz with a wide operating range of 85 to 264V AC. Output is rated 24V DC at 3.0 A (horizontal mounting) or 2.8 A (other mounting orientations), with 72 W output power and 86 W input power. A single 1794-PS3 can supply power to up to ten FLEX I/O adapters when load is within rated capacity. Input current draw is 1.7 A maximum at 120V AC and 1.1 A maximum at 230V AC, with inrush current of 40 A typical for one AC cycle. The module features overcurrent protection rated at 3.2 A, output ripple of 1200 mV peak to peak, and a hold up time covering a half cycle dropout at 47 Hz, 85V AC under maximum load.
