Allen-Bradley #836T-T254J, pressure control switch, 20-300 PSI adjustable range

The Allen-Bradley 836T-T254J is a Bulletin 836T Series A externally adjustable electromechanical pressure control switch designed for traditional machine tool and industrial pressure sensing applications. This T style unit provides an adjustable operating range of 20 to 300 PSI (1.4 to 21 bar) with an adjustable differential of 10 to 55 PSI (0.7 to 3.8 bar) and a maximum pressure rating of 600 PSI (42 bar). The contact block is configured with 2 circuits and carries A600 pilot duty ratings, supporting AC control voltages from 24 to 600 VAC and DC voltages from 115 to 600 VDC. Make ratings are listed at 7200 VA in the 120 to 600 VAC range, with break ratings at 720 VA. The enclosure is constructed for Type 1, 4, and 13 industrial environments and rated IP66, providing protection against dust, water spray, and oil. The unit carries CSA, UL Listed, and CE markings, with the IND. CONT. EQ. A191 designation visible on the nameplate. Operation is based on copper alloy bellows actuation, with the pressure sensing element mounted at the base of the housing. Threaded conduit entries are provided for field wiring.
