AIREWORKS FX15-5000X3 Modular VFD controlled Dust Collection System. The "FX" series is a self-contained modular designed unit for interior use utilizes a dynamically balanced fan. -- "TEFC" motors, precision Laser-Cut components, & multiple discharge options with standard being plastic bags. -- AIREWORKS own Cruise Control system and how it works... Multiple machines can be connected to a single FX collector. The following example shows several machines connected to FX15-5000.Each machine can be isolated by a slide gate when not in use. If machines 1 & 2 total 4,500 CFM when they are in use, the sensor will request the Cruise Control software in the VFD to run the fan motor at the required speed to exhaust exactly 4,500 CFM. The motor will in this case run at 55.9Hz and consume 11 HP. If machine (4) starts and machine (2) shuts down, then the exhaust requirement drops to 2,200 CFM.The Cruise Control will now request the fan motor to spool down to 55Hz and the power consumption drops to 8.6HP. In this way the fan speed and power consumption will automatically be adjusted at all times to match the actual requirement. The built-in Cruise Control guarantee's that the suction is always constant at a minimum power consumption. -- Heavy Duty metal construction, fully welded plenum built using 11 Ga. steel. -- Rated at maximum 5,000 CFM pressure range from 8 - 12 IWG. Equipped with: -- (15) 8' tall High Efficiency filter bags up and (3) plastic collection bag down. -- The filter bags have 375 Sq. Ft. of cloth filter area and 21:1 air to cloth ratio with 33 Cu. Ft. of collection capacity. -- Direct drive dynamically balanced centrifugal fan assembly with 15 HP TEFC motor, 5,000 CFM, 1,750 RPM. -- Non-sparking Heavy Duty machined & balanced impeller; 15" inlet diameter. -- Manual motor starter for 230 V or 460 V.
