Product Description

This Dril-Quip hollow spindle rotary table system is a complete, self-contained package consisting of the rotary table assembly and its dedicated hydraulic power unit with integrated control cabinet. The nameplate identifies serial number HSRTB1, a manufacture date of June 2005, and a weight of 6,840 lb.

The rotary table carries a large diameter face plate, approximately 48 in, in a 4-jaw independent configuration with a large hollow center bore for pipe and tubular work. Construction is heavy cast iron to oilfield standards, and the table is drive-connected to its hydraulic power unit.

The hydraulic power unit and control cabinet are mounted on a heavy-duty fork-liftable diamond-plate skid with a lifting eye for crane handling. Controls include a Dril-Quip branded QuickPanel HMI touchscreen, push-button operator controls for zero, mode, drill and stop, dump, clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation and speed, and a red emergency stop. The pump and motor assembly and hydraulic line connections are integrated into the same skid.

Systems of this type are used for pipe rotation, casing make-up and break-out, and tubular handling in oilfield tubular running operations, pipe shop work, workover operations and casing inspection facilities.
