Our ISB 5.9 L 24 Valve Replacement Long Block Engines are true component built unit. These long blocks are roughly assembled with 90% OEM and 10% Aftermarket parts built back to original specs. A component built reman engine vs. a true reman unit uses more brand new parts (block, head, camshaft etc...). Our 24 Valve ISB 5.9 L long blocks are a great replacement assembly for someone with an existing 5.9 L ISB in a Dodge Ram that uses the earlier electronic fuel system but is not compatible with the new generation common rail setup.It is best to check with a sales representative to determine if our long blocks are a good match for your engine. This particular long block is Front Gear Train and is rated for 325 HP stock pistons.
