Description
This Thermal Care TXW240 is a heavy-duty 240-Ton water cooled process chiller built for continuous industrial service. Manufactured in October 2003 (Serial No. 02111010310), this unit features a robust dual-circuit configuration with two independent 120HP RefComp hermetic screw compressors — providing redundancy and flexibility for large-scale process cooling applications. Thermal Care has confirmed the 240-ton capacity rating for this model.
A critical value-add on this unit: at least one of the two compressors was replaced in September 2015 (RefComp SRC-S-305-MZ H, Serial 15333299), significantly extending the useful life of the compression system well beyond the original 2003 manufacture date. The second compressor (RefComp SRC-S-305-LT, production date 06/2010) was also replaced after original manufacture, meaning both compressors are newer than the chiller frame itself.
