CAT 3306B DI – 220 HP Industrial Engine

Our 3306B DI (Direct Injection) engine is considered a component build engine that could be used in 20+ different Industrial Caterpillar dozers, scrapers, tractors, excavators, wheel loaders, compactors and rollers. The engine is built to a 9Y1719 Arrangement.

It is important to compare Engine Serial Number and Arrangement to determine the best fit. Our engine package may not be 100% compatible with all Caterpillar 3306 Applications, in which case we recommend a more traditional remanufactured long block built to your exact ESN. With this extended long block a custom fit throttle linkage cable may be necessary depending on your equipment setup. We do our best to match block, head, injector, turbo mount, flywheel housing of your existing CAT 3306 using CAT SIS however we do recommend taking pictures and understanding your installation plan with a diesel mechanic prior to purchase.

Our long block and extended long block assemblies are considered ‘component builds’. A new component build is an engine assembly built back to popular configurations using roughly 90% OEM parts, 10% Aftermarket when available.New Component Builds do include limited rebuilt and/or remanufactured components when necessary but frequently they are non-critical wear parts such as aftercoolers, exhaust manifolds, water inlet and outlet connections, gears, gear housings etc. Each build cycle we do is different and follows compliance standards governing re-use guidelines.
