Fitzpatrick Model FA 150, 150 Kg, stainless steel fluid bed, batch dryer with maximum capacity of 150 Kg or 330.6 Ibs per batch or 8.6 cu ft total container volume with 1500 to 2000 cfm standard and up to 2500 cfm with volumes of product per hour – depending on materials and application. All 304 stainless steel construction with 2B finish exterior and # 4 finish interior and has 45" OD x 40-1/4" long stainless steel main chamber with 10Hp motor drive blower fan mounted above filtration and heating system with (4) 1/2" OD, NPT side drains and bottom lower transition discharge section with 1" bottom drain and (2) product carts on casters. HEPA filter gauges with chart recorder has magnehelic and pressure gauges. Remote above mounted climate control air handling system with dehumitifier, pre-heater, humidifier, final heater and Farr 30/30 95% HEPA filters to fluid bed dryer. NEMA 7 enclosure mounted on dryer with start, stop buttons for fan and agitator, electrical wiring and equipment designed for hazardous locations class l & ll division 1. Mounted on stainless steel frame with leveling legs.

Drying is achieved in a FitzAire system as gas flows upward through the solids in the container. Gas is pulled through the bed, partially suspending the particles in the gas stream in a random, boiling motion. Drying occurs as moisture is transferred from the particles to the fluidizing gas.
