2004 Armstrong Condensate Pump Package. Model: DPT-308RP. S/N: 04055-01. Maximum capacity with steam motive: 23,000 lbs./hr with 125 psig motive pressure and 15 psig of back pressure. Maximum capacity with air motive: 26,200 lbs./hr with 75 psig motive pressure and 15 psig of back pressure. The condensate pump package is used to collect and return condensate from remote areas of the plant. As steam produced from a boiler is used throughout the plant and eventually turns to hot water or condensate, the pump returns it to make-up tank closer to the boiler, where it can be reclaimed, chemically treated, and reused in the boiler. This mechanical pump unit operates off of steam or air so electricity in not needed. Mechanical pump package benefits include: savings in production cost as water is reclaimed reduced space piping layout, minimized field labor, lessened installation errors and fewer safety mishaps.
