WEGOMA WP 4AS Corner Cleaning CNC Machine; CNC 4-axis machine designed for cleaning the weld beads on 90 inner and outer corners of plastic window sections automatically. -- The programmable machine interface and display is controlled by a STURTZ interactive CNC processor.Easy to opearate Teach-In programming and automatic profile recognition. Equipped with: -- Grooving knife for top/bottom; Internal corner cleaning knife for top/bottom; Router unit for top/bottom; Saw blade for outer contour cleaning. -- Upper/Lower operation is congfigured as follows: Fixed on (3) tool racks which are positioned vertically by an air cylinder: Upper Grooving Knife, Upper Slotting Knife, and Upper Router are moved by air cylinder and positioned by a servomotor.The Upper Router removes the upper welding bead and machines the seal groove. It is powered by an air motor.Operation: -- Outer contour milling saw is moved and positioned by the same servomotor moving the Upper Tool units. -- A turret takes up the Upper Tool unit and the horizontal and vertical driving units. -- After the clamping cylinder operation a transducer makes the profile recognition. Unit was in good operating when taken out of operation late in 2010, as result of product line change to fiberglass window frames.
