We have surplus electric traction motors available from a canceled commercial vehicle eMobility program. These motors were intended for medium duty and heavy duty electric vehicle applications and are now available for resale as engineering, prototype, test bench, conversion, or development inventory.

These are not small hobby motors. They are industrial grade, liquid cooled traction motors intended for serious EV powertrain work, vehicle integration, dyno testing, university programs, commercial vehicle conversions, marine electrification, or development labs.

Two motor families are available:

Medium Duty EV Traction Motor (50pcs)
TSA TMPW 34A-28-8, liquid cooled traction motor, designed around a 400 V nominal application with a maximum DC link voltage of 450 V. The datasheet shows up to 230 kW shaft power in parallel configuration and up to 2,500 Nm torque in series configuration, depending on operating point and setup. Maximum shaft speed is listed at 4,800 rpm, with 5,760 rpm overspeed. Coolant flow is listed at 25 L/min.

Heavy Duty EV Traction Motor (150 pcs)
TSA TMPW 40A-26-8, permanent magnet synchronous traction motor, liquid cooled. Technical data lists 340 kg motor mass, 4,300 Nm maximum operating torque, 4,400 rpm maximum operating speed, IP6K9K protection rating, 25 L/min coolant flow, and operation from minus 30 °C to plus 70 °C ambient temperature.

These motors are best suited for buyers who understand high voltage EV systems and have the ability to integrate the motor with the correct inverter, cooling loop, resolver feedback, software controls, mounting structure, and safety strategy.
