Product Description

The Siemens HFX3P250 is a three-pole molded case circuit breaker in the FG frame class, rated 250 amperes at 600 volts AC and cataloged under Type HFGA. Part of the Siemens VL Series in a bolt-on configuration, the breaker incorporates a Trip Unit 545 Digital Solid State Electronic trip unit providing LSI protection with Long Time, Short Time, and Instantaneous trip functions. The trip unit is rated In=250A with an instantaneous pickup of 2,750A (Ii) and includes field-adjustable amplitude and time delay settings accessible through dials on the front module panel (firmware version V1.05).

UL interrupting capacity is rated at 100kA symmetrical at 240V, 65kA at 480V, and 20kA at 600V under Issue No. XR-1682. IEC 60947-2 certified values are Icu=100kA and Ics=75kA at 220/240V; Icu=70kA and Ics=70kA at 380/415V; and Icu=12kA and Ics=6kA at 690V.
