ROSENQUIST - EG4290 H, ...Radio Frequency Edge & Face Laminating MachineThe ROSENQUIST model EG-4290H is a high quality Radio Frequency Edge & Face Laminating Machine. The Press is mounted at a 40 angle for ease of loading. -- Gluing Capacity: 85" Long x 43" wide x 2" thick (to be confirmed). -- Generator: Self-contained ROSENQUIST 30 kW generator efficiently cures approx. 3,000 sq./in. of glue line per minute of cure time. Press is completely shielded and exceeds current FCC requirements. All latest state-of-the-art components and circuitry including solid state rectifiers are used. The entire generator cabinet is constructed of aluminum for optimum generator efficiency and shielding. Included are devices that will protect the unit and the plant electrical system if undesirable situations arise. -- Automatic Cycle: Automatically start the clamping and curing cycle once a new charge has been placed in the Press. When the machine is placed in the automatic mode, the Press will only open just above the workload. This minimizes the time required for clamping. The Press will open wide for cleaning by placing the selector to "full open" position. -- Control Panel: Can be swingarm mounted or a free-standing console. All controls required to safely and efficiently operate the equipment; included: Adjustable cycle timer, (2) meters, indicator, trouble shooting lights, and control push buttons. -- System Alarm: Feature provides an audible alarm to signal the operator that the curing cycle has been prematurely halted and is unable to restart. The machine automatically reduces the power setting if equipped with automatic tuning and attempts to restart the cure cycle. The machine will make (3) attempts to restart within a 30-second period prior to alert the operator. -- System Controls: All machine functions are controlled & monitored by an ALLEN-BRADLEY programmable logic controller. Each motor & transformer is protected by individual panel mounted circuit breakers or fuse assembly. All PLC outputs are fuse protected. -- Automatic Power Control eliminates: Need to adjust the power control manually and human error associated with incorrect power settings. Slightly faster cure cycles are realized when cure cycle times are calculated to be greater than (1) Min. Recommended when processing material over 2" thick. -- Safety: All generator cabinet & press access doors and gates are interlocked to prevent operation in the event any are open. Press entry and exit points are protected by gates to ensure operator safety and to provide more efficient shielding. All machines are tested for compliance with all FCC and OSHA regulations regarding radio frequency. -- Side Pressure: Applied by (16) each individual 2-1/2" bore x 12" stroke hydraulic cylinders. Side pressure is fully adjustable to provide the pressures required for optimum results. The edge pressure cylinders are 3,000 PSI rated NFPA standard.
