Description
NICHOLS 300 Carton Layback Machine300 Lbs. max. weight cap. - Simple one-man operation to speed up sealing of large carton bottoms and reduce packaging cost. --Machine consists of roller conveyor base (5" off floor), pneumatically powered large, roughly 6' tall x 4' wide, layback platform with spring-loaded adjustable carton stops and foot control. --Operation method: Carton which is already placed over the finished case good is rolled onto the conveyor, single 4" bore x 20" stroke cylinder swings conveyor base along with the approx. 4' x 6' layback platform approx. 100 back, conveyor returns to original position to allow free access to the carton bottom to push the case good against the top of the carton and to seal it. Conveyor swings back up and returns carton into upright position. --All functions are pneumatically controlled by foot pedal, cycle time for up & down movement is approx. 10 seconds. --This is not air powered like many others seem to be, this one is controlled with an electric hydraulic system, which is included.
