Marshall & Williams, Welex co-extrusion sheet line

Used Co-Extrusion Sheet Line by Marshall & Williams / Welex. Features 1.5" and 2.5" extruders, 7-layer Cloeren co-ex block, 28” flex lip die, and Marshall & Williams sheet extrusion stack. Ideal for acrylic resins and color concentrates.

Co-Ex Sheet Extrusion Line Consisting of the Following:

1.5" Davis Standard 28:1 L/D non-vented air cooled extruder including melt pump. New 1989 and equipped with 6.53/1 gearbox ratio.

2.5" Welex 36/1 L/D with air cooled vented barrel, with 9.145/1 gearbox ratio including manual screen changer, water cooled screw and melt pump. Serial #7906.

1.25" Davis Standard pedestal extruder, 36/1 L/D new 2001 with vented air cooled barrel and melt pump. Includes 5 HP AC motor

7-layer Cloeren co-ex block with additional sleeves for layer configurations. Feed block with plugs for B/A/C/D/C/A/B. C/A/B/A, C/A/B, B/C/A/C/B, A/B/C, A/C/B/C/A. Previously used as a 3-layer line.

28" flex lip sheet extrusion die with removable lower lip including (1) spare lip for .001-.100 thickness.

12" x 30" Marshall & Williams sheet extrusion stack with individual roll drives, air actuated rolls, SO #23035, Serial #29035. Includes cooling conveyor and rubber pull assembly, pumps and heat exchangers and operator controls.

The line was last run to a maximum .354" thickness.
