THE KITAMURA HX-400IG IS A 2016 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER EQUIPPED WITH A FANUC CNC CONTROL SYSTEM. IT FEATURES A 15,000 RPM SPINDLE WITH A CAT 40 TAPER AND INCLUDES A FULL 4TH AXIS FOR COMPLEX PART MACHINING. THE MACHINE PROVIDES X-AXIS TRAVEL OF 24 INCHES (610 MM), Y-AXIS TRAVEL OF 24 INCHES (610 MM), AND Z-AXIS TRAVEL OF 23.6 INCHES (600 MM). RAPID TRAVERSE RATES FOR ALL LINEAR AXES ARE 1969 INCHES PER MINUTE (50 M/MIN). THIS MODEL INCORPORATES A TWO-STATION AUTOMATIC PALLET CHANGER WITH 15.7 X 15.7 INCH (400 X 400 MM) PALLETS, SUPPORTING A MAXIMUM WORKPIECE WEIGHT OF 880 LBS (400 KG). TOOL STORAGE IS MANAGED BY A 50-TOOL AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER.
