HOFER - HKP-400 Feed Through Hot Press SystemFeed through end load hot press for laminating panels up to 5' x 10' in size. Parts are loaded onto the in feed belt and once cycle is started the belt in the press works in timing with the in feed belt conveyor to both unload what is currently in the press as well as load the next parts to press. -- Platen dimensions are approx. 123" long x 63" wide x 1.5" thick with a 5.5" daylight opening, 8 hydraulic down stroke cylinders (140 mm diameter) apply 400 metric tons of pressure (approx. 105 PSI over entire platen area). -- Includes: Drilled Steel Platens with channels for Thermo-Oil heating. -- Equipped with: Electrically Heated Hot Oil Boiler with 3 HP circulating motor as heating system. -- A Rack & Pinion Guide System insures parallel closing of the platens. -- 5 HP Hydraulic pump motor, dual stage & speed w/automatic pressure re-adjustment. -- Construction: Heavy I-beam, welded steel frame; cylinders have chromium plated steel pistons with Teflon bronze guides in cylinder. -- Includes a 127" long x 71" wide powered in feed belt conveyor and a 125" long x 70" wide out feed roller conveyor.
