Up for sale is a solid 1993 Fadal VMC 4020 Vertical Machining Center. This machine was purchased by its current owner in 2019 and has been sitting safely in dry storage, completely unused since then.

5-Axis Ready: Built from the factory as a 5-axis configuration. While the physical 4th and 5th axis rotary mechanics are missing, all internal wiring and expensive factory controller cards remain fully intact in the electronics cabinet.
Internet/Network DNC Capability: Professionally updated to interface with a custom-attached Windows 95 PC data station, allowing you to seamlessly download files directly from the network or internet, escaping the classic, tedious RS-232 serial limitations.
Taper: CAT 40 Spindle Taper.
Tool Changer: 21-Position Umbrella Automatic Tool Changer (ATC).

Machine is structurally complete and was fully operational when installed. It was a prototyping machine, and we bought it in 2019 to start up a new machine shop, but then Covid hit and weve turned it on, but never actually run parts on it.
