Collette Model GRAL 75, High speed, high shear, stainless steel, jacketed, vertical batch, GAMP granulator with gross bowl volume capacity of 75 liters and typical working capacity of 25 to 50 liters with average product density of 0.5 kg/l 10 to 25 (kg). 316L stainless steel contact parts and 304 stainless steel body construction. Equipped with stainless steel jacketed and vacuum portable process bowl with dimensions of 20½" ID x 18" Deep, side bottom jacket in / outlets, pneumatic operated discharge valve with 27" floor clearence. Hydraulic lift up top cover has sight glass, light, filter and 2" liquid filling ports and top driven (3) blade mixing impeller has dual speed 7½ Hp belt motor drive with 200 and 305 rpm. (2) blade choppers has dual speed 5¼ Hp belt motor drives with 1460 and 2870 rpm, plunger outlet valve (one movement) and hydraulic 2 Hp single speed motor drive. Control panel has PLC controller with mixer and chopper high and low speed controls, start, stop, jog and hydraulic lift controls with pressure and vacuum, temperature rpm gauges with readouts, e-stop and statis light. Mounted on heavy duty stainless steel frame with casters.

Single pot processing is the production of pharmaceutical granules using a wet granulation process in which dry mixing, liquid addition, wet granulation, drying and sizing of the granules is done in one machine.

GAMP (good automated manufacturing practice) design for 25% less granulating liquid use resulting in reduction in drying time with no wet sizing required.
