BAKER VERSION I Banding Notch GrooverCut "military" or strapping notches in lumber to use as protective binding strips when using banding on palletized materials.Specifications: -- Accepts any length boards (24" minimum), from 2-1/2" - 10" wide, and 1-1/4" - 1-3/4" thick. -- (2) Dado cutters make 7/8" w x 3/8" deep notches, and (3) 14" dia. circular blades separate and trim the blank into (2) 2-1/4" wide (standard) finished pieces. -- Powered by a 20 HP TEFC electric motor, prewired including a NEMA12 enclosure with disconnect, starter, and circuit overload protection; equipped with variable speed (0-120 fpm) hydraulic feed. -- Totally enclosed, with a safety-interlocked hood that opens for maintenance.
