1. Pretreatment Washer (7-Stage System)
• Stages include heated alkaline cleaning, multiple rinse stages, iron phosphate treatment, and final rinses
• Each stage has a tank, recirculation pump, spray nozzles, and level controls
• Heated stages use Maxon Tube-O-Therm natural gas burners with immersion tube heat exchangers
• Includes sumpless drain system for waste management
2. Conveyor System
• 4-inch I-beam monorail track, 1855 ft long
• Unibilt conveyor with trolley attachments on 24-inch centers
• Variable speed drive (10–20 ft/min, nominal 15 ft/min)
• Moves parts through all process stages (load, pretreatment, ovens, powder room, unload)
• Includes chain lubricator, take-up, and inverter drive
3. Dryoff Oven
• Located after pretreatment
• Maxon APX natural gas burner (2.5 million Btu/hr)
• Designed for 8.6 minutes at 400°F
• Used to dehydrate parts before powder application
4. Cure Oven
• Receives coated parts from powder room
• Two Maxon APX natural gas burners (2.5 million Btu/hr each)
• Seven recirculation blowers for heat distribution
• Nominal dwell time: 25.6 minutes at 380°F (max 400°F)
• Includes purge fan for safety (NFPA 86 compliance)
5. Powder Room
• Insulated, air-conditioned room for powder application
• Equipped with two 20-ton Carrier chilled water air handlers (8000 CFM each)
• Electric reheat coils and fog-jet humidification system for climate control
• Positive pressure maintained to prevent contamination
• Powder booths and application equipment are supplied separately
6. Control Panels and Automation
• Allen Bradley SLC 505 PLC and Schneider Electric touch panel for system control
• Separate oven control panel (Allen Bradley Micrologix 1100)
• Automated start-up and shutdown sequences
• Safety interlocks, alarms, and monitoring for all major equipment
7. Environmental Room Air Handlers
• Maintain temperature and humidity in powder room
• Include filters, duct heaters, and humidifiers
