This 1996 Caterpillar G3412 natural gas generator set is rated at 455 kW / 568 kVA in standby mode at 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, and operates at 1,800 RPM. Powered by a Caterpillar G3412 turbocharged, spark-ignited natural gas engine (S/N 7DB01214), this unit was built in August 1996 and factory-rated at 660 HP under Caterpillar test specification 2T7063. The generator is paired with a Caterpillar SR-4 alternator featuring Class F insulation and is equipped with an electro-mechanical control panel providing analog monitoring for voltage, amperage, frequency, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The unit includes an industrial radiator cooling package, Woodward governor control, and a main circuit breaker assembly. Configured for standby power applications, this generator package measures approximately 187″ L × 84″ W × 113″ H and is well-suited for industrial facilities, standby power systems, and continuous natural-gas-fueled power generation where dependable Caterpillar equipment is required.
