1 Rebuilt Ross Double Planetary Mixer. Model HDM-40. Floor mount with air/oil hydraulic lift for raising/lowering vacuum top cover. Stainless steel contact parts.
One rebuilt Ross double planetary mixer model HDM-40, including the following features and specifications:
* The mixer is equipped with a Delroyd model HV-60 gear reducer. The gear reducer has been inspected and found to be in good mechanical condition. All oil seals will be replaced. The reducer will be filled with sulfur-free worm gear lubricant.
*The mixer will include a 15 HP, 1,750 rpm, 230/460 volt, Class I, Group D, Class II Groups F&G explosion proof motor. Note: no motor starter or inverter is included in this proposal.
*The planetary gearbox housing is used and is made of cast iron. The gearbox will include new stainless steel upper stirrer shaft caps, a new stainless steel upper sealing arrangement with a single braided packing, new stainless steel lower stirrer shaft bearing housings, new stainless steel stirrer shaft mechanical seal housings and a new stainless steel lower center cap.
*The planetary gears will be replaced with new.
*All bearings and bushings inside the planetary gearbox and sleeve bearing assembly will be replaced with new.
*New single mechanical seals will be provided on both lower stirrer shaft bearings.
*The used rectangular style stirrers are type 304 stainless steel.
*The stirrer shafts will be new and made from type 304 stainless steel.
*A new vacuum hood will be fabricated from type 304 stainless steel. The hood will include two 3 ports with Tri-Clamp connections and one 1 NPT port for connecting to a vacuum pump. All interior welds will be ground smooth and all interior surfaces will be polished to a 150 grit or better finish. Exterior welds will be left exposed with weld discoloration removed.
*The mix can is used and is fabricated from type 304 stainless steel. The mix can has a dimple jacket rated for 150 psi, a 2 flush bottom ball valve in the bottom center and is rated for full vacuum operation.
*The mixer is raised by an air/oil hydraulic lift which is in good working condition, and will have new packing installed. The lift is controlled by a hand operated air valve, and a foot operated hydraulic valve.
*The machines base is fabricated from steel channel and is 6 high.
*We will paint all exterior parts of the machine with Heavy Duty Machine Teal oil-based industrial enamel paint. All non-stainless steel surfaces inside the hood including the gearbox, the exposed upper part of the cast iron sleeve bearing and the underside of the drive bonnet (inside the hood) with be coated with Steel-it stainless steel filled paint.

WARRANTY: Heavy Duty Machine warrants the mechanical components of the machine for a period of one year from purchase with the exception of normal wear items such as seals and O-rings or any damage due to improper use or abuse. Bent stirrer shafts and/or breakage of the cast iron planetary gearbox are examples of improper use or abuse that are not covered under this warranty
