New 40-Gallon Double Planetary Mixer, model DPM-40 made in collabortion with our associates in North America

CAPACITIES:

- Maximum working capacity: 10-40 gallons

- Mix Can full holding capacity: 47 gallons

GENERAL FEATURES:

- Air/oil hydraulic lift requires 100 psi compressed air for raising the drive and agitator

system. The controls for the hydraulic lift system will be incorporated into the control

panel.

- Change can design to allow the use of multiple mix cans.

- Stainless steel type 304 wetted parts polished to 100-grit finish.

- All non-stainless steel such as the planetary gearbox above the product and the

exterior surfaces to be painted with a two-component epoxy

- Mixer is designed for vacuum up to 29.5”Hg. Vacuum pump to be supplied by others.

- O-Ring seals will be made of silicone.

- Limit switch prevent operation of drives when stirrers are in the raised position or

when mix can is removed.

AGITATORS AND DRIVES:

- Rectangular Planetary Stirrer Blade driven by a 10 HP, 220/440 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz

motor suitable for non-explosion proof applications.

- Agitator speed will be controlled by VFD.

VACUUM HOOD:

- Stainless steel type 304

- Designed for vacuum operation up to 29.5”Hg

- Two (2) 3” diameter combination sight and charge ports with clamps and Pyrex glass.

- There is a 1” FNPT port for drawing the vacuum

MIX CAN:

- Mixer comes with one 40-gallon mix can designed for use under vacuum

- Internally machined for use with a discharge press.

- A 2” manually activated Flush Ball Valve is centrally located on the bottom of the mix

can.

- A baffled jacket made of type 304 stainless steel will be added to the side of the mix

can. It will be suitable for 15 PSI steam and 50 PSI cooling water.

- Mix can is mounted on casters, two rigid and two swivel.

- Optional Fork lift channels may be added to allow you to lift the mix cans into an

elevated position. If this is a desired feature, we will advise of the additional cost.

- Designed for mixing under vacuum up to 29.5”Hg.

- A stainless steel handle is provided for manually maneuvering the mix can

CONTROLS:

- A Control panel is mounted on the mixer

- The control panel has a stainless steel enclosure

- A VFD provides speed control as well as start and stop for the mixer drive

- An emergency stop button is provided

- Raising and lowering controls are incorporated into the control panel.

ADDITIONAL MIX CANS:

- We can manufacture new mix cans, if required they can be manufactured for use with a Ross or our own discharge press.

- We have used mix cans, both for use with a discharge press or not.

DISCHARGE PRESS:

- We can provide a new discharge press compatible with our own or Ross made mix cans

- We can provide a used Ross made discharge press subject to availability

- Available new 40 gallon mix can designed for use under vacuum
