New, never-installed Conveyor Engineering & Manufacturing enclosed screw conveyor. The unit was assembled and tested for operation at the factory but has never been installed or placed into production service.

Heavy-duty construction includes 3/16" AR400 U-trough sections and 3/16" AR400 sectional screw flights. The right-hand screw uses a 4-1/2" pitch, 5" Schedule 40 center pipe and 2-7/16" shafting.

The conveyor includes sealed and gasketed removable covers, mounted inlet and discharge, intermediate hanger and bearing, Dodge end bearing, Guardian grease-purged shaft seals, NORD screw conveyor gear reducer and 3 HP Toshiba explosion-proof motor.

The original manufacturer design basis was approximately 1,200 lb/hr of 28 lb/ft³ fiberglass at a 22 degree incline. This capacity is specific to the original engineered application and should not be considered a universal throughput rating. Actual capacity with another material will depend on bulk density, particle size, flow characteristics, abrasiveness, moisture, incline, fill level and other operating conditions.

Condition Details: Never installed or placed into production service. Factory assembled and tested for operation. No cosmetic damage has been reported. Light surface flash rust is present on portions of the screw and trough from storage humidity.
