Description
This Caterpillar 3516 diesel generator set is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade standby power solution rated 2000 kW at 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. Powered by a CAT V16 diesel engine and paired with a Caterpillar alternator, this enclosed package is built for dependable backup power in demanding applications. Controls are provided through a Caterpillar EMCP digital control panel for system monitoring, protection, and operation. Fuel is supplied through a base fuel tank for extended runtime capability. Additional features may include a main breaker, jacket water heater, and multi-stage fuel filtration. Unit will be serviced, tested, and flashed/retagged to a 2 MW standby rating prior to sale.
