These two press cells were last used by a well known US company in production of forged turbine blades. The blades were used in both aerospace and in gas turbine generator power plants. The blades were both forged and trimmed in the presses. Dies and tooling for several families of turbine blades are included with the cells. Each cell only required one person for operation. Heated material was feed to the press and forged and trimmed blades were conveyed away from the cell.
