Yougar’s YGS CNC Moving Head Series is a fully controlled CNC EDM drilling machine with a moving head design that ensures superior smoothness of motion and stability when compared to fixed-head moving table style EDM drills. The AGC (automatic guide changer) easily enables automatic drilling of holes with different depths. A large touchscreen panel on the PC allows the operator to either manually enter drilling positions or easily import them from a DXF or wire EDM program file stored on an external source. Common interfaces for data transfer such as USB or TCP/IP come standard. The YGS CNC Series machines are capable of up to 8 fully programmable axes, tilting head ±45°, supports diverse rotary table manufacturers, and includes multi-lingual operations making it an excellent choice for any manufacturing application no matter how complex.
Yougar’s YGS CNC Moving Head Series is a fully controlled CNC EDM drilling machine with a moving head design that ensures superior smoothness of motion and stability when compared to fixed-head moving table style CNC EDM drills.
Drilling is performed using rotating brass or copper tubular electrodes from 0.004" to 0.118" in diameter. A reliable high pressure pump employs adjustable through-spindle flushing from 0~750 PSI, allowing for the best possible performance with any size electrode.
Maximum workpiece weight is 2,200 pounds. ¢ All YGS-CNC models are available with optional ±45° tilting head (Z-Axis slant) design allowing for a full 90° Z-Axis rotation angle. This feature is perfect for the aerospace industry and when drilling in complex parts that require compound angles.
¢ All YGS-CNC models offer a submerged oil dielectric fluid option. This feature allows for electrolysis-free (secondary erosion-free) machining on compound materials such as Tungsten Carbide.
A built-in supply module for the dielectric system is designed internally into the machine saving space and maintenance. Dielectric fluid is filtered from 3µm to 20µm via a standard replaceable paper filter cartridge. An ION quality sensor and mixed bed ION exchange resin monitors clean water to maintain proper conductivity. The YGS CNC Series machines are capable of up to 8 fully programmable axes, ±45° tilting head, and multi-lingual operations making it an excellent choice for any application no matter how complex.
